I am so saddened to learn of Catherine's passing. My first memory of Catherine & Yank goes back to 1948 when mother used to babysit Juliana along with my sister. My entire life they were always next door, working in the flowers, growing glads and running up and down the Old Road in the old green truck with Sissors. When my mother was well into her senior years Catherine taught her the fine art of china painting and her hidden talent blossomed. All our family now cherish the many fine pieces they painted and fired in the "Quack Shack." My sister said today that she was truly a woman before her time.
