Obituary for Nicholas Aaron "Nicky" Laws
Nick departed unexpectedly Wednesday April 29, 2020 peacefully in his home. Born January 11, 1978 in Princeton, WV.
He is survived by his parents Jim and Sandy Skeens, his two sons Nicholas Caleb and Caden Aaron, sister Erin Bishop and nephew Conner Stanton. Also left tp cherish his memory are his grandmother Erma Laws, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and the dog he loved so very much, Chunk. He will beloved and missed forever by all.
THE DAWN
The dawn is breaking and so am I, as I sit in my chair, pretending not to cry. The years replay, in the back of my mind. Oh how I wish I could make time unwind. I'm reminded of the times we'd laughed and cried, the trouble we caused, and when we'd lied. I watch as the colors streak across the sky, and know that it's not my place to ask God why. Everything he does is for a reason; the wind, the waves, and the change of seasons. Even though it's hard to understand, we know that right now by His side you stand. Dawn's broken the sky, and my tears are finally dry. For I know I'll see you there in that beautiful place, where only tears of joy shall stain my face. We'll stand together, side by side, as we watch the dawn breaking through Heaven's Skies.
