Jeanette B. Canterbury 92 of Lindside and Union passed away Tuesday March 31, 2020 at Springfield Center in Lindside, WV. Born December 7, 1927 in Union, WV she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie Brown Dixon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Bob Canterbury, Grandson; Jordan Canterbury, Son; Frankie Canterbury and siblings Lucia, Wanda, Malcolm Dixon and Bernice Dixon Short.
Mrs. Canterbury is survived by two sons Mark (Tracy) Canterbury of Lindside, Joe Tomlinson & Dave Brown of Renfrew PA and daughter Brenda and husband Benny Spangler of Fairlea, WV. Grandsons Shane (Jessica) Canterbury of Pigeon Forge, TN Mike McReynolds, Brian Canterbury, Richard Canterbury, Deidra Canterbury Pate and Great-Granddaughter Heather McReynolds of Los Angeles, CA and several nieces and nephews. Friends of the Springfield Center and special caretaker Jennifer Bailey of Ballard, WV.
Due to COVID-19 a private burial will take place at Green Hill Cemetery in Union, WV with Pastor Tim Spencer officiating. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Canterbury will be held at a later date.
