Ronald E. Bowman, 74 of Lindside, WV passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born February 13, 1946 in Yukon, WV he was a son of the late Thomas and Marie Bowman. Mr. Bowman was a retired coal miner having worked 31 years for US Steel in Pineville and a member of the UMWA . He enjoyed as a hobby attending auction sales. Mr. Bowman had served in the National Guard.
Mr. Bowman is survived by his two sons Gregory Bowman (Chastity) of Natural Bridge Station, VA, and Ronnie Bowman (Diane) of Buena Vista, VA. One brother Tim Bowman (Deb) of Beckley, WV and sister Doris Yost and husband Wes of Rosedale, VA. 4 Grandchildren Andrew, Adrianna, Michala and Dusty Bowman and four great-grandchildren that he loved more than anything. his companion Donna Anello of Lindside, and many friends and neighbors.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Wickline Funeral Home in Lindside with Pastor Larry Roberts officiating.
