Jordyn A. Ballengee, 23 of Lindside passed away Thursday February 13, 2020 in Pennsylvania. Born March 31, 1996 in Bluefield, WV she was a daughter of Jeff and Rebecca (Becca) Christian Ballengee of Lindside, WV.
Jordyn was a 2014 graduate of James Monroe and a 2018 graduate of WVU. She was working as a federal prison guard in Hazelton, WV. She was an avid Duke fan. Jordyn loved her family and friends. Jordyn was known for her infectious smile and caring personality. Her kindness, smile, laughter and ability to make others laugh was a genuine quality that she will be remembered by forever.
In addition to her parents Jordyn is survived by two siblings Haleigh and Kole Ballengee. Maternal Grandparents Lonzo and Sharon Christian of Peterstown, Paternal Grandparents Jim and Deloris Allen of Hinton, Terry and Jayne Ballengee of Richmond, VA, Great-Grandmother Angeline Ballengee of Hinton. Aunts and Uncles; Pam (Keith) Wickline, Angie (Allen) McKinney, Katrina "Trina" (Bobby) Shires all of Lindside, Denise (Roger) Massey, Nedra Allen companion Dave Holland, Nathan (Victoria) Allen all of Hinton. Cousins Lyndsay, Ryan, Braylin Wickline, Morgan Harvey, Samantha McKinney, Briana Hatfield, Landan and Chloie Shires, Roger Massey Jr, Grady and Lyllian Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at Wickline Funeral Home with Pastor Derrick Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Red Sulphur Springs, WV.
Family will receive friends from 6PM till 9PM on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at the funeral home.
