Obituary for Arvin R Fortner
Arvin Ray Fortner, 63 of Peterstown passed away Thursday June 7, 2018 at his home. Born March 24, 1955 in Rock Camp, WV he was a son of the late Arnold and Ruby Fortner Dunn.
In addition to his parents Arvin is preceded in death by two brothers Eddie and Roscoe.
Arvin is survived by his wife Mildred Meadows Fortner of the home, 4 Brothers his twin brother Marvin and Walter Fortner, Michael Dunn all of Narrows, VA, Robert Dunn of Lindside, 4 sisters Donzella Jean Lucas of Lindside, Ruby Beasley and Ina Sue Thompson both of Narrows and Lori Ann Dempsey of Peterstown, 2 step-daughters Michelle Nida of Lindside and Stephaine Hodge of Peterstown, one step-son Wayne Terry of Lindside,half-brother Curtis Dunn of Goshen, OH. Grandson that he helped raise Albert Collins of the home, 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Community Family Worship Center in Petersotwn with Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Private burial will follow.
