Elvin E."Joe" Pyne, 90 of Lindside, WV passed away Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Country View Assisted Living in Peterstown. Born June 27, 1927 in Zenith WV he was a son of the late Everett and Anna Echols Pyne.
Mr. Pyne was a lifetime resident of Monroe County a 50 year member of the International Union Operators and Engineers Local 132. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marie Ballard Pyne, 2 Brothers Carl and Olin Pyne and one sister Lois Kelley.
He is survived by his son Jimmy Pyne and companion Patricia Woodson of Lindside and one daughter Linda (Tommy) Vass of Lindside, one sister Clara June Young of Salem, VA. Grandchildren; Michelle Vass, April Lively, Melanie Pyne, Robbie Pyne and Shannon Pyne, Great-Grandchildren; Grant, Addison, Colton, Hunter, Chase, Hannah, Shyanne.
Family will receive friends Thursday April 19, 2018 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Wickline Funeral Home in Lindside. Honoring his request be will be cremated.
