Obituary for George D. Mann

George "Danny" Mann, 76 of Ballard, WV passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2018. Born April 27, 1941 in Princeton, WV he was a son of the late George P. and Sylvia Wirtz Mann, he is survivied by his step mother Madge Mann of Greenville, WV. He had a love for outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was retired from Hoechst Celanese after 30 years. He also liked to do taxidermy work for a hobby. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Gerald Mann.
Survivors include his wife Melissa Mann of the home, son Kevin Mann (Shari) of Greenville, WV, daughters Mary Ellen French (Andy) of Pearisburg, VA, Dustin Burton (Kelli) of Pearisburg, VA, Jean Bowles (Clay) of Ripplemead, VA and son Daniel Mann of the home. Eleven Grandchildren, Keith and Craig Mann, Sonya Fullen, Ashleigh Morrow, J.T. Brinson, Stacey Brinson, Anthony Morrow, Kaylie and Ryan French, Hannah and Hayla Mann, 6 great-grandchildren. His siblings Mary Ann Pence (Jimmy) of Peterstown, William "Bubby" Mann of Lashmeet, WV, Janice Belcher (Wayne) New Castle, VA, and Larry Mann of Lindside.
Graveside services will be held Saturday March 17, 2018 at 1:00 Pm at Keaton Cemetery with Minister Henry Conley and Bobby Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Keaton Cemetery in Greenville.
