Obituary for Jack Hughes
Jack "Zeke" Hale Hughes, 75 of Princeton, WV formerly of Wikel, WV made the sweetest entrance into Heaven on Monday November 10, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 3, 1939 in Keystone, WV he was a son of the late Charles Clinton and Dora Ellen Skeens Hughes. Mr. Hughes was a member of the Orchard Christian Center in Ballard. He enjoyed attending church, hunting, and being with his family, but his greatest enjoyment in life was the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers Ora, Harold, Tom and Tyler and two sisters Kate and Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Racheal Louise Dempsey Hughes of the home, three daughters, Trena Hodges of Bluefield, Jackie Pauley and husband Kenny of Summerfield, NC, Debbie (Doodle) Deskins and husband David of Union, WV, one son Jack (Rusty) Hughes Jr. and wife Shelia of Peterstown, WV 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren and a loving caring church family.
Funeral services will be held November 13, 2014 (Thursday) at 1:00 PM at the Orchard Christian Center in Ballard with Rev. Rusty Hughes and Rev. David Deskins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Wike. Josh Deskins, DJ Deskins, Andy, Alex and Austin Pauley and Duane Hodges will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call Wednesday November 12, 2014 from 6pm til 8pm at Wickline Funeral Home in Lindside, WV
