Edwin "Eddie" Harlan Rose, 54 of Pearisburg, VA and Peterstown, WV passed away Monday December 31, 2012 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA.
Born May 28, 1958 in Pearisburg, VA he was a son of the late Ernest S. and Pansy Jones Rose. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shelia Scarberry Rose. Eddie was a lifetime carpenter and a talented artist.
Eddie is survived by one daughter Jessica C. Rose, granddaughters Courtney P. Rose, Emma B. Rose, Shalee D. Robertson all of Rural Retreat, VA. Stepson Scott D. Scarberry, step-grandchildren Cody & Cheynne Scarberry of Abingdon, VA. Stepmother Nellie Rose Johnston and husband Odell of Peterstown, WV Sisters Brenda Perkins and husband Mike of Peterstown, WV Debra Rose Casad and husband Steve of Sultan, WA one brother Jerry W. Rose and wife Gina of Ballard, WV 7 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday January 4, 2012 at 2:00 Pm at New Life Worship Center Church of God on Henson Ave. in Pearisburg, VA. with Rev. Barbara Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Bozoo, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 (Noon) til time of service at the church.
